This program has been in the works for well over a year now, and I’m SO excited to share it with you this January. Instead of hopping on the “New Year’s Resolution” bandwagon (which we know doesn’t work), join me for 4-weeks of this Intuitive Eating workshop.
What’s this program all about? It’s designed to help you FIND YOUR WAY when it come to food, nutrition and health. I’m going to help you sort fact from fiction and give you the tools to commit to a life of freedom from diets and diet culture, while still honouring your health!
Beginning January 1st, this ONLINE program will run for 4-weeks. You’ll get a weekly video lesson and homework along with membership in a private Facebook group where we can share, support and ask questions.
What will be covered?
✨ A “deep dive” introduction to Intuitive Eating. We’ll cover a LOT more than just the basics. I’ll be sharing real-life examples from my practice and my own life.
✨ A thorough review of weight science and WHY diets don’t work. In my practice, this is where people get tripped up. They’re lured back by the promises of diet culture, and I want you to get OFF that hamster wheel.
✨ How to really LISTEN to your body’s hunger and fullness cues and truly learn to manage emotional hunger with confidence and self-compassion.
✨ Learn how to honour your health with gentle nutrition instead of arbitrary food rules that seem to change with the seasons.
✨ And most importantly how to learn to LOVE you body, even if you don’t like it…yet.
Who is this for?
✨ Anyone who struggles to find the balance between food, nutrition and health, especially if you just can’t bring yourself to go on yet another diet plan.
✨ People who are interested in learning how their body works and what it actually needs to be healthy.
✨ Anyone who is confused as heck about food and struggling to make food choices that feel good.
✨ Men and women who want to better manage reactive and emotional eating.
✨ Anyone who is interested in building a healthy relationship with food.
Who is this NOT for?
✨ Any person who is in active treatment for an eating disorder. Learning to trust your body and eat intuitively is a key step in any recovery process, but this online course isn’t appropriate if you’re being followed as either an in-patient or out-patient for anorexia or bulimia. Please contact your family doctor or Eating Disorders Nova Scotia for more information about treatment options.
